We’re excited to announce that our help documentation site, help.github.com, is now available in Japanese and Simplified Chinese. New languages bring more opportunities for members of the developer community to build new things, all over the world. Our new localized sites include documentation for GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Desktop, and GitHub Pages.
You can access our Japanese and Simplified Chinese sites by visiting help.github.com, and then selecting your language from the drop-down menu. You can also access the translated documentation directly by visiting help.github.com/ja for Japanese and help.github.com/cn for Simplified Chinese.
Our help and product documentation runs on a continuous integration system, which means that site visitors will always have the latest content. You may notice that some translated articles or sentences within an article are in English. This means that the content was recently added to the site and is currently in a queue waiting to be translated—make sure to check back soon. We are always working diligently to bring you more content in your preferred language.
This is just the beginning for localized product documentation and we expect to add more languages in the future. As the world grows more interconnected, we want to support everyone in building new products and innovating towards the future, regardless of the language you speak.
We hope that our localized documentation can help people around the world discover new features, improve their experience, answer questions and deepen their GitHub knowledge. Contact us to share your feedback and help improve GitHub.
