Announcing AI-powered commit message generation with GitHub Copilot—now generally available in GitHub Desktop!
With just a click in the commit message box, you can generate clear, helpful commit messages powered by Copilot, helping you ship your changes upstream faster and with greater confidence.
Copilot commit message generation is available to both Copilot Free users and all paid Copilot subscribers. Organizations and enterprises can enable it through the “Copilot in GitHub Desktop” policy.
