GitHub gists now only show their 30 most recent comments when first displayed. You can click Load earlier comments… to view more. This allows gists that have many comments to appear more quickly.

Gists Now Support Alternative Default Branch Names
As you may or may not know, gists are actually Git repositories. New gists are now created with a default branch name of either main or the alternative default branch name you've defined in your user settings. This matches how other repositories are created on GitHub.

Discussions are now supported in the GitHub app for Microsoft Teams and Slack.
Notifications
- You can now subscribe to the
discussionsfeature from a channel in Microsoft Teams or Slack, or a personal app in Microsoft Teams. - After subscribing, you will be notified when a discussion is created or answered.
URL previews
- When you post a link to a discussion in Microsoft Teams or Slack, a preview of the discussion will now be displayed.
