We’re thrilled to announce the launch of GitHub Campus TV! With new shows every week, tune in to hear from experts, participate in workshops, and join a community of passionate technologists from around the world. If you’re a student looking to build your skills, confidence, and community then this channel is for you!
What is GitHub Campus TV all about?
We launched this channel to create a fun and supportive space for emerging developers to have conversations, discover new resources, and tackle challenges together. Plus, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at GitHub and the exciting things we’ve got planned for students this year. Our goal is to stream engaging, interactive, and meaningful content every week on GitHub Campus TV!
Catch up on on the latest episodes
Earlier this month we sat down with GitHub Star Eddie Joude to talk about open source before GitHub, inclusive community building, and how Eddie manages thousands of GitHub notifications. The Star of the Year answered questions from the audience and shared tips on how to start your first open source project. Check out the entire episode of Office Hours with Eddie Joude and follow us on Twitch.
That’s not all! GitHub Senior Software Engineer on the Communities team, Denise Yu, got the creative juices flowing on Doodling for Technologists. During the interactive workshop, she walked through how to tell stories with doodles and talked about how anthropomorphism (putting a face on everything) makes everything more fun.
Let’s geek out together!
Wherever you are in your learning journey, GitHub Campus TV has a show for you! Don’t miss the next stream. Follow us on Twitch for notifications and keep an eye out for additional times coming soon. We hope to see you there!
