Ludum Dare 52, the weekend-long game jam thatās been running for almost 20 years, just wrapped up. This yearās theme was āharvestā and the number of game submissions grew to a whopping 1632!
Ludum Dare is an online competition challenging participants to create a game from scratch in just a few days. The only catch is that entries must adhere to a theme thatās announced at the start of the competition. So, if the theme was āharvest,ā you can expect to see lots of games featuring combine harvesters, fields of oats, the grim reaper harvesting souls(!), fruit collectionāthat sort of thing.
