Looking for an awesome job? You’re in luck. We just launched a bunch of new enhancements to make finding the perfect job on GitHub Jobs even easier.
The App
First off, the GitHub Jobs iPhone app. Save searches based on your location, skills or requirements then receive push notifications whenever a new job matches one of your searches.
Interested in Python jobs around New York City? With the GitHub Jobs iPhone app you’ll be the first to know when a Python job in New York is posted.
The Site
The GitHub Jobs homepage has been beefed up in a big way:
- Jobs Near You — Local jobs (if we found any) you might be interested in.
- Featured Jobs — Jobs featured on The Changelog.
- Hot Searches — What are companies looking for?
- Featured Companies — See who is serious about finding great people.
The API
If there’s an app there’s an API, so we’ve made ours available to everyone at http://jobs.github.com/api. It’s simple stuff but maybe you’ll find a use for it.
That’s it for now. Head over to GitHub Jobs or grab the app and start your search!
