With the new addition of the Command Bar, it’s possible to get to so many great parts of GitHub from a single search box. We found it so powerful, that in many instances we haven’t needed the full interface of the GitHub dashboard.
Today we’re introducing a new launch page at github.com/launch to serve that need.
It’s nothing more than the Command Bar, a link to your profile, and a notifications indicator. That’s it. It loads fast, focuses the Command Bar automatically, and lets you get to work.
Add it as a bookmark or favorite—or better yet, set it as your browser’s homepage. We hope you find it fast and useful. We think it’s a great way to launch GitHub.
