We are battling for charity next week at the First Annual Octocat Dodgeball Invitational. If you’re in the Bay Area and think your company has the balls, sign up here. All you need to join are six to eight of your strongest co-workers, a charity you care about, and a donation.
If you don’t have enough people for a team, it’s okay; you can still join in on the fun! We need referees and cheering squads. If you want to help out, let us know.
If you’re not in San Francisco, don’t worry. You can do your part and donate to any (or all if you’re feeling generous) of the charities the teams are playing for. Here are just a few of the charities we will be playing for:
- Women Work Together: creates programs to empower women in Guatemala
- Aspire Public Schools: operates charter schools to prepare urban students for college
- United Nations Children’s Fund: provides assistance to children developing countries
Check out the official Dodgeball site for a complete list of the charities.
