I’d like to welcome Basho, the makers of Riak, to GitHub. Mark Phillips posted to the Riak mailing list that they have started developing Riak and their other projects primarily on GitHub, as opposed to just mirroring here.
Why? There are several reasons, the primary of which is that GitHub,
the application, lends itself to more collaboration when developing
open source software.
In addition to Riak (a decentralized key/value store), they also have some other cool Erlang projects on the Basho organization: Riak Search, webmachine, rebar.
