L\u2019objectif est de pr\u00e9server les logiciels libres pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures en stockant le code dans une archive construite pour durer mille ans. Le GitHub Arctic Code Vault est maintenant en production.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Qu&rsquo;y a-t-il dans la chambre forte ?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le 02\/02\/2020, GitHub a pris un snapshot de tous les repositories publics actifs sur la plateforme pour les archiver dans la chambre forte. L&rsquo;instantan\u00e9 comprend :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les repositories avec commit entre l&rsquo;annonce \u00e0 Universe le 13 novembre 2019 et le 2 f\u00e9vrier 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les repositories avec au moins une \u00e9toile et un commit de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant l&rsquo;instantan\u00e9, entre le 3 f\u00e9vrier 2019 et le 2 f\u00e9vrier 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les repositories ayant au moins 250 \u00e9toiles, quelle que soit la date de leur derni\u00e8re activit\u00e9.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/archiveprogram.github.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En savoir plus sur les crit\u00e8res du snapshot<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un guide pour l&rsquo;avenir<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avec des archives du monde entier et une chambre forte arctique pleine de code, GitHub offre un contexte et une orientation au travers d\u2019un guide, qui sera inclus dans chaque archive. Dans cette optique, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/github\/archive-program\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">un index et un guide<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> lisibles par l&rsquo;homme est fourni, indiquant l&#8217;emplacement de chaque repository et expliquant comment r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer les donn\u00e9es. Le guide donne un aper\u00e7u de ce qu&rsquo;est un logiciel, une explication de l&rsquo;open source et de son \u00e9thique et un aper\u00e7u technique sur la mani\u00e8re de d\u00e9compresser le contenu des archives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/github\/archive-program\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aidez-nous \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer le guide<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le conseil consultatif de GitHub Archive Program<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Afin de maximiser la valeur des archives pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures, GitHub a r\u00e9uni un<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archiveprogram.github.com\/#advisors\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> comit\u00e9 consultatif d&rsquo;experts<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en anthropologie, arch\u00e9ologie, archivage, histoire, linguistique et sciences, pour un premier sommet consultatif les 16 et 17 janvier derniers. Apr\u00e8s avoir examin\u00e9 le programme des archives, le conseil consultatif a identifi\u00e9 trois th\u00e8mes importants :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La visualisation : Inclure des repr\u00e9sentations visuelles dans le contenu des archives elles-m\u00eames, comme par exemple montrer le code de trac\u00e9 scientifique \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ses r\u00e9sultats et rendre les artefacts physiques des archives visuellement saisissants et esth\u00e9tiquement attrayants.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es : Inclure les m\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es du repository (description, langue, journaux de commit, wiki associ\u00e9, etc.) et les m\u00e9tadonn\u00e9es pertinentes \u00e0 plus grande \u00e9chelle, comme les rapports de <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/octoverse.github.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l&rsquo;Octoverse<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> et un snapshot de Wikip\u00e9dia.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Redondance : En particulier, cr\u00e9er des petits repositories \u00ab\u00a0fractionnaires\u00a0\u00bb de l&rsquo;archive, avec des contenus tels que les 10 000 repositories les plus \u00e9toil\u00e9s et les plus importants, ainsi qu&rsquo;un petit \u00e9chantillon al\u00e9atoire d&rsquo;autres repositories. Ces copies de ces repositories sont \u00e9galement offertes \u00e0 des archives et des biblioth\u00e8ques de premier plan dans le monde entier, comme la Bodleian Library d&rsquo;Oxford.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quelle est la prochaine \u00e9tape ?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aujourd&rsquo;hui, GitHub commence la mise en production de l\u2019<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arctic Code Vault<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, qui prendra environ deux mois.
