Git Merge 2022 just wrapped up in Chicago bringing the community together for 16 talks, three workshops, one Git Contributor Summit, and lots of great conversations over two days. $10,000 in ticket proceeds from the event were donated to the Git project at Software Freedom Conservancy 🎉.

Git Merge is hosted annually to bring Git users and contributors together to celebrate the Git project. This year, Git Merge featured sessions and workshop content, as well as the Contributor’s Summit, a time for Git contributors to meet with each other face-to-face.
Hear about everything from Git-driven debugging with git bisect, to the latest improvements to git merge, and deep dives into Git’s object storage mechanism. There’s something in there for Git users of all levels.
