Git Merge 2022 just wrapped up in Chicago bringing the community together for 16 talks, three workshops, one Git Contributor Summit, and lots of great conversations over two days. $10,000 in ticket proceeds from the event were donated to the Git project at Software Freedom Conservancy 🎉.

Git Merge is hosted annually to bring Git users and contributors together to celebrate the Git project. This year, Git Merge featured sessions and workshop content, as well as the Contributor’s Summit, a time for Git contributors to meet with each other face-to-face.

If you missed this year’s Git Merge, never fear—session and workshop content is now available on our YouTube channel.

Hear about everything from Git-driven debugging with git bisect, to the latest improvements to git merge, and deep dives into Git’s object storage mechanism. There’s something in there for Git users of all levels.

Thank you

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s Git Merge! And thank you to our friends at GitLab for being a continued sponsor of the event <3
